Seamless steel pipe weight calculation formula: (outer diameter – wall thickness) * wall thickness * 0.000823 = kgm3

Weight calculation: The allowable deviation of the seamless steel pipe calculated according to the cross-sectional area is divided into 4 situations:

  1. ±0.25mm;
  2. ±0.50mm;
  3. ±1.00mm;
  4. ±1.25mm.

The above four conditions are the allowable deviations of seamless steel pipes, which should be indicated at the time of delivery.

In addition, according to the user’s requirements or those specified in the contract, the variety, specification and length can also be produced according to the user’s requirements.

The calculation method of seamless steel pipe weight is as follows:

  1. The domestic seamless pipes supplied according to the chemical composition and mechanical properties, such as the chemical composition of 10# and 20# steel should meet the regulations of gb709-83 and gb3077-82 respectively. Seamless pipes shall be inspected according to the relevant standards stipulated in the contract.
  2. The carbon content of the seamless pipe delivered in the normalized or hot-rolled state required by the buyer shall not exceed 0.25%, and the mechanical properties shall meet the requirements of yb528. 3.

For domestic seamless pipes subject to fluid pressure, the pressure designation and the size tolerance range should be indicated in the contract.
